How soon will I receive my tax refund?
The IRS usually sends out refunds within three weeks or up to 21 days, but sometimes it can take a bit longer, everyone’s paper work is different. For example, the IRS may have a question about your return.
Can I get a bigger tax refund next year?
You can always count on us to help you get your maximum refund year after year. You can also increase your paycheck withholdings to get a bigger refund at tax time.
When does the IRS update my refund status?
The IRS' refund tracker updates once every 24 hours, typically overnight. That means you don't need to check your status more than once a day. You can always check your refund on the “IRS2Go” app which can be downloaded from your iOS or Android app store.
How do I check the status of an amended return?
Amended returns can take longer to process as they go through the mail vs. e-filing, just ask us.

I’m getting my refund deposited to a Metabank Pre-paid card. How does that affect my refund status?
If you’re having your refund direct deposited on your Metabank Visa Card®, go to the disclaimer for more details. Metabank Visa Card® allows you to access the money quicker than by mail if you don’t have a bank account. We use Refund Advantage, a division of (MetaBank®, N.A.) who will add your money to your card as soon as the IRS approves your refund.
